-The Fire Ball-

We were asked to come up with a design for a project.
It was to be transferred to a 4 1/2 foot ocean buoy... then it will be cut with a plasma cutter.
We will cut our design out of the 1/4 inch steel buoy.
Once completed, it will be a fire pit capable of casting shadows and invoking conversation.

Our Design

After some Brainstorming we realized we need more places of intersection, for strength.
Once the ball is red hot from the fire it could bow and sag.
